What you will be able to do

  • ✓ Explain what EASA Part 21 Subpart G and 14 CFR 21.137 require of a production quality system, and what a Form 1 or Form 8130-3 release certifies.
  • ✓ Plan and record a first article inspection under AS9102, and control key characteristics through PFMEA and a control plan as AS9145 expects.
  • ✓ Judge whether a measurement is fit for its decision, using calibration traceability, measurement uncertainty and a gauge R&R study.
  • ✓ Calculate and interpret Cp and Cpk and use control charts and reaction plans to keep a process capable.
  • ✓ Select suitable non-destructive testing methods, explain NDT personnel qualification and FOD prevention, and apply the lessons of Delta Air Lines Flight 1288.
  • ✓ Disposition nonconforming parts with the right authority, respond to suspected unapproved parts, and contain and solve quality escapes.
