Digital work packages, parts and turnaround
Building a check package, digital task cards and e-signatures, hangar slots and manpower, kitting, non-routine findings, turnaround tracking and release to service. Part 2 of the Modern MRO series.
What you will be able to do
- ✓ Build a heavy-check work package from the approved programme and other sources, computing which tasks fall due before the next visit.
- ✓ Design task cards and digital task cards that meet European and US expectations, including electronic signatures and electronic records.
- ✓ Plan hangar slots and manpower from paid to productive hours, applying the man-hour plan rules and protecting the critical path.
- ✓ Kit parts, tools and equipment before induction, predicting findings and reading kit readiness against the critical path.
- ✓ Route non-routine findings and open work safely, using handover and independent inspection rules and the lessons of TSB report A02O0349.
- ✓ Track turnaround time by critical-path cause and issue a release to service that certifies only what is complete.
