Ground-segment scarcity shifts from antennas to trained operators

Antenna capacity has expanded quickly across the equatorial belt, drawn by the pass geometry that makes those sites valuable. The constraint has moved: operators describe six to nine month searches for staff who can run a station to the standard that anchor customers require, against hardware lead times measured in weeks. Several are training from adjacent telecoms roles rather than waiting for aerospace-experienced candidates who are not available locally.
