Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. We process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), the EU/UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA where applicable.

The data controller is Aerospace Garage Limited, an Aviation Consulting and Digital Media Library, Distribution and Management Company registered in Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Contact: info@aerospacegarage.com.
Data we collect
Account data (name, work email, company, password); consulting registration data (CV, credentials, expertise, rates, availability — submitted with your explicit consent); billing data (processed by our payment providers — we do not store full card numbers); usage and device data (pages viewed, approximate location, IP, cookies); and any content you submit, such as a directory profile or a query to our assistant.
How we use it
To provide and secure the Services; to process payments and subscriptions; to personalize content and advertising by region and interest (with consent where required); to send newsletters and service messages you consented to; to analyze and improve the platform; and to comply with legal obligations.
Automated processing
The desk assistant and bottleneck triage tool receive only what you type into them: your question or description, work email, and company or country if you provide them. This information is used to answer your query and, where you ask for consulting help, to scope a possible engagement. It is not used to train any AI model. Inputs are retained for 12 months so we can review quality and resolve disputes, then deleted or anonymized.
Lawful bases
We rely on: performance of a contract (to deliver the Services you request); consent (for non-essential cookies, marketing, newsletter subscriptions and consulting registrations — consent wording version and timestamp are recorded with each consent); legitimate interests (to secure and improve the platform); and legal obligation (for tax and compliance). You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
Advertising & analytics
With your consent we use analytics and advertising cookies, to measure traffic and serve relevant ads. You control these through our cookie banner and your browser. We do not sell personal data; where CCPA/CPRA applies, you may opt out of any sharing for cross-context advertising.
Form security
Our forms are protected against spam and abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile; see the privacy policy of Cloudflare.
Sharing
We share data with service providers who act on our behalf (payment processing, analytics, email delivery) under contract, and with authorities where legally required. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Payments are processed by Stripe. Where data is transferred outside your country, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. Account data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward. Newsletter subscriber records are kept while the subscription is active; unsubscribing suppresses future sends.
Your rights
Subject to local law, you may access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, and object to certain uses. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe instantly from any edition. Registered consultants can edit or permanently delete their record and files from their private dashboard link. For anything else, use the privacy rights request form below or email info@aerospacegarage.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
