• Electron

  The Electron is a two-stage, light-lift launch vehicle designed to provide dedicated orbital access for the small satellite market. Developed by Rocket Lab, an American company with New Zealand origins, the rocket is notable for its use of the Rutherford engine, which utilises electric-pump-fed cycles rather than traditional gas generators. The vehicle incorporates carbon-composite structures to minimise mass and supports a high-cadence launch schedule from dedicated private sites.
