  Astrova is a modular in-flight entertainment (IFE) and connectivity platform designed by Panasonic Avionics Corporation. It represents a shift from traditional monolithic seatback hardware toward a hardware-as-a-service model, utilising 4K OLED screen technology and spatial audio. The system is designed with a removable peripheral bar, allowing airlines to upgrade components such as USB-C charging ports or Bluetooth transmitters without replacing the entire screen assembly or modifying the seat structure. Several major international carriers have selected the system for their long-haul fleets. Icelandair [Flugleiðir] and Saudi Arabian Airlines [الخطوط الجوية العربية السعودية] were among the early adopters, while United Airlines has committed to installing the hardware across its narrowbody and widebody aircraft. The product is marketed as a way to reduce weight and lower the total cost of ownership by extending the lifecycle of the primary display unit through targeted modular updates.
